Prissy Puss

Good morning!
PATTY:   The last time we were at the vet, she described Daffy as being "a little bit prissy."  Is this what she means?  See the crossed paws?  I don't know; I think this makes her beautiful and why we love her so much.

Anyway, she's got to go in for grooming again.  We brush and comb her every day, but the shedding is more than we can keep up with.  Do you have secrets to keeping your kitty mat-free?  Share them, please!

Also, she's going to have dental work (which I can't wait to find out how much THAT is going to cost!), but I remember when Bhu had his dental work.  He was 100% more happy and loving.  Being a himalayan he had bad teeth from the start, but we got him before feline veterinary dentistry became available here.  Daffy's dental issues are not as critical as Bhu's, thank goodness.

Hope you have a great Thursday!  xoxo

Pretty kitty! The only thing that ever worked was getting our long hair a lion cut - but he hated it poor thing and we never did it again.

Such a pretty kitty and the only way to keep the fur from flying is that combing. All the best on the upcoming dental, yes, a mouth that doesn’t hurt is so much better. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!

When Zo looks like that, we say "you got your big eyes on!" ... it means
1) I want a treat
2) I'm about to swat you
or
3) I love you
...
hopin' for number 3.

Talk about MATS, that's Zoey (and of course, Angel Maggy) personified.
Queens of Mats ... belly, privates, under the chins ... nearly impawsible to
control and neither liked brushing much at all, tho we tried often. Good Luck!

Only as my girls got older...10+ did they have a problem with mats and usually only in the nether region.

Such a beauty. I use the furminator for long-haired kitties and that does a good job.

Just a test, my friend, to see if I can get this to go through since I cannot on the other blog. Comments come up as a separate page on this blog. Maybe that makes a difference. Yep, this recognizes me. Knows who I am right off. Can you set the comments on the other one however you have them on this one? Thanks. I loved the Stars and Bars quilt and cannot believe you had the sashing and border fabrics in your stash. Bravo. I detest Captcha.
