| Daffy's keeping watch over my stitching. |
PATTY: We were on vacation for a week and Daffy really missed us. She was so happy to see us when we got home and, of course, got right back into her routine of three different foods plus treats whenever she wants.

Whenever I try to hand-sew the binding on a quilt, Daffy figures it's a new quilt for her and she gets right on it and purrs and purrs! She is very contented; so happy we are home. She's a very good quilting companion, too, because when she thinks my stitching is getting too big, she puts out her paw and looks at me.

Daffy! I am sooper-dooper glad to see you back. I know you had to have missed your mom and day terribly. I always miss Mom when she goes over the mountains! That's a beautiful quilt you are luxuriating on taffy! You sent it off with your gorgeous coloring in your furs.
Daffy, you can be sure your Mom missed you too !
