Do I hear the Beachboys??? Hmmm. Well, here is the Amy Butler quilt top. I am having trouble deciding how to quilt this and I don't have a long-arm quilter so I asked Wanda over at "A Frayed of Fibers," one of the most talented quilt artists I know, how she would proceed. "Say hello to the kittehs fur I." No, Bhu. This is a time when you can say "Me" instead of "I". "How can me's tell the diffurence?" No, Bhu, now you would say How can "I" tell the difference. Not "Me". "U iz confusin' I!" Ish . . .

Oh it is so pretty!
One of the quilting patterns that I like came to mind called double bubble. You can find it here:

I also like this one:

You may even find more that you like there. Do a search on Rotorua, it's another pattern I like to do on busy pieces. If you are quilting it yourself, then I would say you could do some ribbon work (make it look like Christmas ribbon candy) diagonally in the leafy parts and then you could meander, do loops, or circles in the striping area.
Great quilt top! Are you sure you don't want my dolphin kit? (LOL)
