Today is our Anniversary. Here is my knight on a white horse. He makes me happy because he is very smart, happy, kind, sincere, and has the most incredible, infectious laugh. Plus, his soul is golden. And he loves and cares for Mr. Bhu.
Who, by the way, had another visit to the vet today. He behaved so BADLY! OMG, I was so embarrassed by all the hissing, growling, clawing -- he was SO mean, they had to get an assistant who covered him with a towel and hunkered down on him so he wouldn't bite or claw. I'm mortified!! So, the boy's got fleas and we are going to have to treat him for that.

Cal's mom here. I totally know what you mean about being bad at the vet. Cal hisses, spits, growls, etc. He also has to be subdued with the heavy blanket. The techs automatically come in with the heavy gloves up to the shoulders. I get highly embarrassed and say over and over again...."he is not like that at home, I swear!"

Poor Bhu! I am a pretty good kitty at the vet. The last few times I've gone, she always compliments me on how well I behaved. However, I definitely tell my Mom about it on the way home!

omigod, that makes about 25 yrs, yes? is it the special one, or is that next year? not only all my love but also all my respect to the two of you (and, ok, the cats too, over some of all those years). i recall so well those early days; honestly, i cant say i thot i would be writing something like this so far off in the future, but back then i believed that nothing could possibly last ... now i am more of a believer, and nothing is better proof of the reasonableness of that optimism (other than my own parents) than you two. HATS OFF, and here is hoping for another about 25 yrs. pls pass this all along to M.

She once bit the vet and made him bleed.Now he wears gloves when he treats her.Happy belated Anniversary.
I am so sorry I missed your anniversary which is the day after my Ronnie's birthday! We all need that knight on a white horse, but so few of us actually find him. You have been blessed. I have some "yellows" to send you!
